Scheduled Service and Upgrade – REPAIR
The useful life of the altimeter is dependent on conditions of use.
To maximize the service life of the altimeter, we offer optional service and upgrade for all Alti-2 electronic military altimeters to be returned to the factory at 5-year intervals for complete service as follows:
- Altimeter will be disassembled and inspected.
- Batteries will be replaced.
- Firmware will be upgraded to the latest revision unless otherwise stated
- Upgrades such as enhanced battery door will be installed
- Remove all stickers and upgrade to laser engravement
- Altimeter will be reassembled.
- Altimeter will be profile chamber tested, functions verified along with a video
The expected time for maintenance should be less than 14 working days after receipt at our facilities in DeLand, Florida
Note: If after disassembly the altimeter is deemed to be beyond economic repair (BER), 50% of the service fee will be refunded.
Additional repairs to the maintenance for MA10:
Replacement of the frame                    US$ 150
Replacement of the Lens                     US$ 75
Replacement of the circuit board                         US$ 200
Replacement of the battery door              US$ 100
Parts replacement cost added after evaluation by our techs.
A repair always includes full maintenance.
